Gant prides itself on the balanced leadership that it has at the top. Both Pieter and Godfrey have over 60 years of business experience between them. Their partnership was borne out of their previous involvement in the successful delivery of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in the City of Tshwane.
It was here that Godfrey was the Chief Executive Officer: 2010 FIFA World Cup Programme and Pieter served as the Project Manager for the entire programme.
Their role was to oversee all the 2010 FIFA World Cup projects, including construction and additions to Loftus Versfeld Stadium, roads construction projects and construction of training venues.
Leading up to and post 2010 FIFA World Cup, both Pieter and Godfrey were involved in the international assignments at 2006 FIFA World Cup, Germany 2008, Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana, Euro 2008, Switzerland and Austria, 2014 FIFA World Cup, Brazil. This wealth of international experience guides the company to keep abreast with both local and international trends within the Built Environment sector.
